Глагол venir может выступать в роли вспомогательного глагола, он помогает образовать ближайшее прошедшее время Passé Proche, Passé Immédiat, где он теряет своё основное значение 'приходить' и переводится наречием только что, совсем недавно.

Вот такая схема: глагол venir в нужной форме настоящего времени (в нашем случае ce qui – что – третья форма vient) + de + инфинитив основного глагола (в нашем случае глагол arriver).

Другой пример:

Une délégation russe vientd'arriver à Paris.

Русская делегация только что прибыла в Париж.
